‘The Big Door Prize’ Renewed for Season 2 at Apple TV+

The critically-acclaimed HBO Max comedy series “The Other Two” returns with its third season next month. Starring Heléne Yorke, Drew Tarver, Case Walker, and Molly Shannon, the show was created by former “Saturday Night Live” co-head writers Chris Kelly and Sarah Schneider.

Ethan Shanfeld Brooke and Cary are back as television’s funniest forgotten siblings in Season 3 of “The Other Two,” returning to HBO Max with two new episodes on May 4. Drew Tarver, Heléne Yorke, Molly Shannon, Ken Marino and Case Walker star in the 10-episode season alongside recurring cast Josh Segarra, Wanda Sykes and Brandon Scott Jones. The Season 3 logline, per HBO Max, reads: “After comparing themselves for years to their much-younger pop star brother, ChaseDreams (Walker), who is now a full adult, and their talk show host mother (Shannon), who’s now more powerful than she could have ever imagined, Brooke and Cary (Yorke and Tarver) are finally standing on their own two feet — fully ‘successful’ in their own right! And yet, they somehow find themselves comparing themselves to new people once again???”

In another scene with the two co-stars, Barrera calls for a «dance break» before she and Ortega go skipping through a park. During another take with newcomer Josh Segarra, Ortega looks like she's going to make it through the scene after her co-star flubbed his line.

The medical drama, which debuted in 2017, stars Freddie Highmore as Dr. Shaun Murphy, a young autistic surgeon who has savant syndrome and works in the surgical unit at the prestigious San Jose St. Bonaventure Hospital. Alongside Highmore, the “Good Doctor” cast includes Hill Harper as Dr. Marcus Andrews, Richard Schiff as Dr. Aaron Glassman, Fiona Gubelmann as Dr. Morgan Reznick, Will Yun Lee as Dr. Alex Park, Christina Chang as Dr. Audrey Lim, Paige Spara as Lea Dilallo, Bria Samoné Henderson as Dr. Jordan Allen and Noah Galvin as Dr. Asher Wolke.

Naman Ramachandran “Rana Naidu,” the Indian adaptation of “Ray Donovan,” has been renewed for a second season by Netflix. The news emerged the same day that Netflix announced a 1.75 million jump in subscriptions worldwide. The action thriller that stars Venkatesh Daggubati and Rana Daggubati trended on the No.1 spot as the most watched series in India for three consecutive weeks after launch last month and continues to be in the top 10 series in India for the fifth week in a row. It trended in Netflix’s global top 10 for non-English TV for two weeks after it launched on March 10.

BreAnna Bell ABC’s “The Rookie” will be returning for a sixth season where it’s expected to hit its 100th episode milestone, the network announced on Monday. The procedural follows John Nolan (Nathan Fillion), the oldest rookie in the LAPD, who uses his life experience, determination and sense of humor to keep up with rookies 20 years his junior. Nearing the end of his training, Nolan now faces his biggest challenge as a police officer when he must come to terms with the choices he has made in pursuit of the truth. Alyssa Diaz, Richard T. Jones, Melissa O’Neil, Eric Winter, and Jenna Dewan join Fillion among the cast. In the next episode, which airs April 18, Officer Tim Bradford’s (Winter) ex-wife, Isabel, returns and asks the team to help her save someone from her undercover past. Her return also creates additional pressure in Lucy (O’Neil) and Tim’s relationship as they assist her in the search. “The Rookie” Season 5 finale will arrive on Tuesday, May 2.

As expected, ABC has renewed The Rookie for its sixth season.
