Netflix is searching for more perfect matches.
The streamer has renewed reality dating series Perfect Match for a second season.
It comes after the launch of season one in February, having spent five weeks on Netflix’s Global Top 10 English TV list, reaching the Top 10 TV lists in 58 countries.
Perfect Match brings together the most famously single stars of Netflix’s unscripted series such as Love Is Blind, The Ultimatum, Too Hot To Handle and The Mole, to a tropical paradise in an attempt to find love. As they compete to form relationships, the most compatible couples will play matchmaker, breaking up other couples and sending them on dates with brand-new singles they’ll invite to the villa. Will they create better matches, or will they create chaos?
The series is hosted by Nick Lachey. It is produced by Love Is Blind producer Kinetic Content and exec produced by Chris Coelen, Eric Detwiler, Sarah Dillistone and Heather Crowe.

Netflix has renewed political drama The Diplomat for a second season.Created by Debora Cahn (The West Wing, Homeland), the series follows Kate Wyler (Keri Russell) as she becomes the new US Ambassador for the UK and juggles international crises with her turbulent marriage.After the show debuted on April 20, Netflix confirmed on Monday (May 1) the series will return for a second season.Speaking about the renewal, Russell said: “I am thrilled to be headed back for another round of this smart screwball show. Dare I say it’s fun? Thank you Netflix for giving us another shot.”The Diplomat has been renewed for Season 2.

The announcement was made ahead of Amazon’s NewFront presentation in New York on May 1. The first season of “Bosch: Legacy” debuted on Freevee in May 2022, with Season 2 set to air this fall. Like its predecessor, the Prime Video series “Bosch,” the Freevee series is based on the Bosch novels written by Michael Connelly. “The story of Harry Bosch has evolved over the years, and his journey is far from over,” said LaurenAnderson, head of AVOD Originals, unscripted, and targeted programming at Amazon Studios. “Thisrenewal of ‘Bosch: Legacy’ is a testament to the enduring power of the world Michael Connelly built. The news comes as the two stars recently wrapped filming on the new episodes, which continues to follow the interconnected lives and personalities that make up the titular a.m. talk show's team at a TV network struggling to modernize with the times. Season 3, which is directed by Mimi Leder and led by showrunner Charlotte Stoudt, features several new additions to the sprawling ensemble cast, including Jon Hamm and Nicole Beharie as well as Tig Notaro, Stephen Fry and Natalie Morales in recurring roles. The upcoming season also sees the return of season 2 newcomers Julianna Margulies and Greta Lee, who will appear alongside Emmy-winner Billy Crudup, Karen Pittman and others. Meanwhile, Season 3 is set to debut this fall. Witherspoon and Aniston are executive producers, with Mimi Leder directing and executive producing, and Charlotte Stoudt acting as showrunner and executive producer for Season 3. “The Morning Show” is produced by the Media Res, Hello Sunshine and Echo Films. The network shared the announcement on Thursday. “Station 19” follows a group of heroic Seattle firefighters as they put their lives and hearts on the line. The series aims to take viewers inside the tough, tight-knit and sometimes heartbreaking world of the city’s first responders. In addition to the renewal news, Zoanne Clack and Peter Paige have also been appointed as showrunners and executive producers for the upcoming season. As Variety previously reported, former showrunner Krista Vernoff announced her departure from both “Grey’s Anatomy” (which is currently in its 19th Season) and “Station 19” in January.
