Strictly pro Nancy Xu breaks silence after 'bloody neck' leaves fans concerned

Strictly Come Dancing professional Nancy Xu has broken her silence following Saturday night's live show, which left some of her fans concerned. Worried viewers took to social media after spotting what appeared to be blood on her neck after her Tango with celeb partner, Les Dennis, during the first live show.
The 32 year old dancer chatted to host Tess Daly after her routine, but as she turned to the side, fans noticed what looked like blood on her jawline and neck.
She was then spotted holding a tissue to her neck as she climbed the stairs to Claudia Winkleman – but appeared to be in high spirits. One fan commented on Twitter: "Hope Nancy is ok… that looks like an injury," whilst another panicked, added: "Nancy is bleeding! Poor Nancy!" The professional dancer has now broken her silence – but didn’t reference her apparent injury.
Sharing a picture of her and Les dancing to her Instagram, she said: “That's week one done. Hope we did bring a bit of smile on your face @bbcstrictly.” One fan replied in the comments section: “What happened to your neck, hope you are ok”, while another said: “Hope your neck is okay after it was bleeding xx.” Others praised her performance, saying: “Your dance made me smile.
Les was so determined and focused” and: “You definitely did, so proud of you guys.” Her Strictly co-star Karen Hauer also showed her appreciation as she sent a series of clapping emojis. Nancy’s partner, presenter and comedian Les Dennis, donned a shirt and waistcoat for their tango to Don’t You Want Me by the Human League to secure a score of 16.
