Strictly Come Dancing star Robin Windsor's family break silence after his tragic death

Robin Windsor's family have shared a touching message following the sad news of his death.
The former Strictly Come Dancing star passed away at the age of 44, with his death being announced in the early hours of Tuesday Morning. His family have since thanked friends and fans for the outpouring of love following the news of his death.
In a statement shared with the Mirror, they said: "We would like to thank everyone for the outpouring of love and celebration of our beloved Robin. "While we understand that there is a huge public and media interest around his passing, we as a family need time to process our shock and grief.
We ask for the needs of our family and friends to be taken into consideration and for our privacy to be respected at this difficult time." Robin had become a fan-favourite during his time on Strictly, which saw him dance with the likes of Lisa Riley, Patsy Kensit, Anita Dobson, and Deborah Meaden. Susanna Reid, who had danced with Robin in a special episode, became emotional as she shared the news of his death on Tuesday's Good Morning Britain While Emmerdale actress Lisa Riley shared a number of photos of herself and Robin as she paid tribute to the late dancer on social media.
She wrote: My Bestie, My Robin, My Angel.......now our forever Angel, who is loved, will always be loved, forever in my heart......my very broken heart, I love you, shine your beautiful, electric energy from heaven. SHINE IN PEACE." And Strictly judge Craig Revel Horwood also shared an emotional tribute to Robin, writing: "I have just heard the tragic news my dear friend 'Bobby' Robin Windsor has passed.
