Scots mum slams door in face of suspicious man who tried to enter her home

A mum has told how she slammed her front door shut as a man tried to gain entry to her property in the middle of the day.
Jordyn Summerville said the man tried to walk into her home on Wednesday morning. She said she managed to prevent him from gaining access to her home in Broxburn, West Lothian.
And she said she saw him acting suspiciously in the Lychgate Lane area after the town he left, peering through windows and trying the letterboxes of homes.
Edinburgh Live reports she wanted to warn others to be on the lookout for anyone trying to enter their home and shared images of the man looking into windows.
She said: "It was 11:30am Wednesday I heard someone speaking and making noise in the flat stairway before my letter box was being fiddled with.
"Assuming it was the post man I stood at the door waiting for something to come through and then saw my handle being slowly pulled down and the door slowly pushing open.
"That's when I saw this man crouched down slowly looking in to see if anyone was around and then clocked me standing right there.
"He had a black woollen hat on, bushy dark eyebrows, khaki green jacket and black adidas trousers with white stripes.
