A leading investigative journalist has claimed Prince Harry chose to ignore "the warnings that Meghan [Markle] spelled trouble".Tom Bower has suggested that the Duke of Sussex, 37, had decided to ignore the fact Meghan, 40, had spoken to journalist Sam Kashner for Vanity Fair in 2017 about their relationship. At the time their engagement was still a secret to the world and her decision to speak to the press came after Harry had "ordered" her to "maintain a tight-lipped silence about sensitive subjects". Mr Bower makes the claims in his upcoming book, Revenge: Meghan, Harry and the war between the Windsors.

Love Island has seen a collection of Islanders having celebrity links recently but some contestants have connections to the Royal Family. It's been revealed that the Royal Family cost taxpayers £102.4million last year. A new report shows that spending on the royals rose by £15million to top £100million for the first time ever, which is a rise of 17 per cent.

Camilla married Prince Charles in 2005 and since they exchanged vows the pair have called Clarance House in London their home. Before that it was home to the Queen Mother who lived there for 50 years. And before The Queen Mother, The Queen, when she was Princess Elizabeth and Prince Philip, called it home between 1949 and 1952.

As one of the most famous families on the planet, the royal family ’s day-to-day life is full of unique traditions. And one notable tradition regards the names of members of The Firm, with many royals holding different titles that are often influenced by their ancestors.

It seems there’s no end to the number of young royals in The Queen’s family at the moment. While perhaps the most known are Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, there is also a whole host of other youngsters who less is known about.The Queen currently has 12 great-grandchildren and eight grandchildren so you would be forgiven for missing a name or two out from any list. One young royal who very few people know about is Prince Michael of Kent's granddaughter who used to attend the same school as Prince George and Princess Charlotte in London.

On Monday 13 June, the Royal Family released a photo of the Queen holding a walking stick during the Order of the Garter service. In the photo, Her Majesty, 96, can be seen standing between her son, Prince Charles, and his wife, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall.
