Onana has encouraged in goal, but Mount has struggled to hit the ground running and is now injured while Hojlund is yet to play after a stress fracture in his back was flagged during medical tests. The Danish striker cost United £72m and has already been tipped by Ferdinand as the deciding factor in the success of the summer.

"I have to see what Hojlund does before I say I'm happy if I'm being real," Ferdinand told Vibe with Five. "It's an okay window up to now. The problem is, if you just put it on paper I’d say I’m quite happy but Mason Mount’s injured now, Hojlund signed injured.
"But Hojlund is coming back, and he may play against arsenal at the weekend. If he comes in and scores a goal and we win that game then it would be a great, great window."
Hojlund looks set to make his debut at the Emirates on Sunday after being involved in full first-team training all week. The 20-year-old's attacking threat is much-needed, given none of United's forwards have scored yet this season.
