Alvaro Fernandez is set to leave Manchester United on loan on the final day of the summer transfer window.
The 20-year-old has agreed a season-long deal with La Liga side Granada, following some late interest from other Spanish sides in his signature.
The Manchester Evening News revealed earlier in the week that Fernandez was set to leave the club once a new left-back was signed, with Sergio Reguilon joining the club from Tottenham.
Erik ten Hag revealed in his press conference on Friday that Reguilon has already trained with his new teammates and could make his debut against Arsenal on Sunday.

His arrival will give Fernandez the green light to depart on a temporary deal, and it is understood there is no option to make his move permanent at the end of the campaign.
Fernandez, who excelled on loan with Preston last season, is still highly rated by United coaches, but they feel he needs another loan move before he can be considered for a first-team role.
The Spaniard was on the bench for the 3-2 win against Nottingham Forest at the weekend, with Diogo Dalot selected in the left-back role and Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia both currently sidelined through injury.
Club sources say there has been significant interest in Fernandez all summer, but it is Granada that presented the best offer for playing time that would also allow United to keep hold of the Spaniard in the long term.
United signed Fernandez from Real Madrid's academy in 2020.
