Manchester United can enter the international break with some optimism if they beat Luton Town this afternoon and supporters have backed Erik ten Hag to stick with many of those who performed well in midweek.
United host the newly promoted Hatters at Old Trafford this afternoon as they look to bounce back from Wednesday's disappointing 4-3 Champions League defeat at FC Copenhagen. Ten Hag's side actually performed well for much of the game but saw Marcus Rashford sent off and collapsed at the end of each half.
They have enjoyed an excellent record against Premier League newcomers under Ten Hag and have already beaten Burnley and Sheffield United. The Dutchman needs to win today and fans want him to stick with those who fought hard in Denmark.

That will see Alejandro Garnacho retain his place on the left-wing after an encouraging performance. The Argentine probably should have squared for Rasmus Hojlund's second goal but his effort fell to the Dane nonetheless, and he was an incisive presence on the counter when United were down to 10.
Hojlund's two goals took him to five in Europe but the 20-year-old is yet to get off the mark in the Premier League. He will hope for some improved service from Rashford, who is available for domestic action and looked dangerous on the right until his red card.
Ten Hag named Scott McTominay as one of five players showing leadership qualities this season and the Scotland international has been backed to keep his place in central midfield. His run and cross set up Hojlund for the opening goal on Wednesday and he has arguably been United's best midfielder in recent weeks.
