OGC Nice are prepared to sell Jean-Clair Todibo next summer with Manchester United one of several interested parties, according to reports.
United are keen to strengthen in central defence amid growing concerns regarding the long-term viability of current options. Raphael Varane has struggled with fitness issues all season while Harry Maguire could look to leave in search of more regular football ahead of the 2024 European Championship.
Erik ten Hag's side were tracking Todibo over the summer as they planned for the potential sale of Maguire, following the acceptance of a £30million bid from West Ham. And now 90min the 23-year-old will potentially be allowed to leave next summer as reward for his fine performances.
The French side, currently owned by Sir Jim Ratcliffe, currently sit top of Ligue 1 and will ask Todibo to see out the rest of the season, should they remain in serious contention for at least a Champions League spot. United are thought to remain interested but will face competition from the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Newcastle.

Elsewhere, TEAMtalk reports that Varane is continuing to attract interest from Saudi Arabia.
Clubs from the Saudi Pro League were eyeing the 30-year-old over the summer as they went on a massive spending spree. However, a move never came close to materialising as he was still highly valued by Ten Hag.
But Cristiano Ronaldo's Al Nassr are among several clubs to retain an interest going into the January window, and the report also suggests that Varane would be open to leaving. The French international's representatives are said to have
