Police have issued an update after a group of four attacked a man before bundling him into the back of a BMW. Greater Manchester Police has issued an update this afternoon (December 8) following the kidnapping in Sale, Trafford, earlier this week.
Officers were called out to reports of a kidnapping on Clarendon Crescent at around 6.10pm on Wednesday (December 6). GMP believes that four men attacked the victim before bundling him into the back seat of a silver BMW 3 Series car.
The group then made off from Clarendon Road. No arrests have been made so far and enquiries are ongoing. Anyone with information is being urged to come forward.

Detective Inspector Paul Costello, from Trafford CID, said: “We have been working hard to identify the suspects in this incident that came into us on Wednesday evening. This is understandably a cause for concern for the local residents in the Sale area but we want to ensure the community and Greater Manchester as a whole that this is an isolated incident.
“Thankfully, we have managed to locate the victim in this case, and we have worked closely with him. We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident and anyone with information to make contact with us - this includes if you have relevant footage such as CCTV, mobile or dashcam."
Anyone with any information is asked to call 101, quoting log number 2733 of December 6, 2023. Alternatively, information can be passed to the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
