Police are investigating after a man was injured in a New Year's Eve attack in Oldham.
Officers were called to Market Street in Shaw at around 9:50pm on December 31 following reports of a disturbance.
A 50-year-old man was assaulted and received injuries, the force said. These are not thought to be life-threatening or life-changing.

One witness told the Manchester Evening News the attack happened at the Blue Bell on Market Street, adding that the injured man had reportedly been trying to break up a fight. No arrests have been made, but police said enquiries are ongoing.
In a statement, Greater Manchester Police said: “At around 9:50pm on 31 December 2023, police responded to reports of a disturbance on Market Street in Shaw, Oldham.
"A 50-year-old man was assaulted and received injuries although these were thankfully not life-threatening or life-changing. No arrests have been made at this time and enquiries are ongoing.”
