A teenage boy has been seriously injured after being 'stabbed in the back' on a night out near Manchester city centre on Saturday evening (September 2).
Police were called out to the incident at Love Factory, on Dantzic Street, in the Green Quarter, at around 7.40pm. An event was being hosted at the warehouse at the time.
The Manchester Evening News understands that the victim, aged 19, was stabbed in the back and was subsequently rushed to hospital from the scene, where he remains with serious injuries.

Greater Manchester Police launched an investigation into the stabbing which is understood to have happened after a fight broke out at the venue shortly before.
A witness who lives nearby said there were at least five police cars and vans that arrived at the scene along with an ambulance. Officers remained stationed at the scene of the incident throughout Sunday morning (September 3).
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: "At around 7:40pm on Saturday 2 September 2023, officers were called to reports of a stabbing inside a premises on Dantzic Street in Manchester.
"Emergency services attended the scene, and a 19-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries. It is believed the 19-year-old victim was attacked with a bladed article by a man thought to be in his 20’s. Enquiries are ongoing in relation to this incident."
A spokesperson for Love Factory added: “Love Factory are working closely with the authorities. This appears to be an unexpected isolated incident. As ever, our priority is the well-being and safety of our customers and staff."
