Yet former Rangers man Craig Moore, who agrees with the new boss on the crocked riddle, reckons it was an issue that permeated the squad under Van Bronckhorst and Beale. He believes there was 'some noise' that players wanted to do even more in training, something Clement has put high on his priority list.
Moore told Go Radio: "Too long and for too long in my opinion (injury list). Even under Giovanni and followed up with Beale, the way Rangers played under those two previous managers was very patient and there has been noise previously noise coming out that the players wanted to do more in training. I think physically, they can be much, much better. Clement has come out quite strong on that.
