Meghan Markle apparently differs from her husband Prince Harry in the fact that she makes no attempt to “be anonymous” when she’s out in public. That’s the opinion of body language expert Judi James, who has been talking to The Mirror about Meghan’s latest appearance as she strolled around her Montecito neighbourhood and checked out a farmers’ market.
There was no sign of the Duke of Sussex as the former Suits actress had a look at all the stalls and handmade goods being sold before she bought a bunch of flowers then headed home.
Judi James told the Mirror she feels it was as if Meghan was on an “idealised" shopping trip and she could be seen to “acknowledge the camera”.
Meghan was dressed in a cool, crisp white shirt which she wore over a camel-coloured maxi dress as she took in the items on sale and she carried a straw handbag and wore black flip flops. Judi said: "Meghan shops as though she's still taking part in a Netflix series.
"This is idealised A-list shopping complete with shoulder sack, designer shades and a bodyguard: sniffing orchids and tasting honey rather than pushing a trolley full of baked beans and fish fingers round the aisles of a Lidl."
Judi then said Meghan, 41, could be using her handbag to try to help conceal her identity but she wasn't quite achieving what she set out to do. She added: "The bag looks like a form of barrier or attempt to hide here but her famously beautiful face is only partly hidden by the shades and unlike Harry, she hasn't gone down the baseball cap route to try to be anonymous.
