However, Casemiro says he is enjoying his time at Old Trafford and has appreciated the support he has been given at the club. Speaking to CNN, he said: “I’m very happy at Manchester United. As I’ve always said, the fans have always helped me. The club is always good to me.”
Ratcliffe is thought to back Ten Hag, who may have time in the bank following last year’s exploits despite a poor current season. If results start to dwindle further, though, INEOS might be forced into mulling over a decision.
Casemiro, who made his return from injury against Newport on Sunday, believes Ten Hag is the right manager for the new regime and hailed his attributes.
