Erik ten Hag insists he is still proving himself at Manchester United after playing down concerns about his own contract situation at Old Trafford.
Ten Hag has less than 18 months remaining on his current deal at the club but refused to say whether his discussions with INEOS had involved talks over an extension to that contract. The Dutchman has met Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Sir Dave Brailsford in the last month, since the company's minority stake in the club was confirmed.
Those talks have been described as positive but Ten Hag insisted they weren't about any individual and he is aware of the need to prove himself at the highest level day after day at United.

“We speak about many subjects but I can’t go into detail, especially when it is so personal," he said when asked about his contract situation.
“First, the most important thing is the club. It’s about the club, about the team and how we have to work to high standards to achieve our targets. It’s not about any individual person.
“When you’re involved in top-level football I think you know that you have to prove yourself every day - and that counts for everyone who is working for this club.”
Ten Hag ended a six-year trophy drought in his first season at the club, winning the Carabao Cup at Wembley in February, and he is seeking to add the FA Cup to the cabinet this season to mask what has been a disappointing campaign.
United head to south Wales on Sunday for a fourth-round tie with Newport County and it is the only trophy left on the table, with the club languishing in eighth in the Premier League.
