Gabriela Cavallin has urged Manchester United to drop Antony after she made domestic abuse allegations against him.
Cavallin spoke to Brazilian website UOL on Monday, alleging that she had been abused on multiple occasions by the United winger. The influencer and DJ's allegations are under investigation by Greater Manchester Police and police in Brazil.
United released a statement on Wednesday acknowledging the allegations, adding that they were awaiting further information. The statement said: "Manchester United acknowledges the allegations made against Antony and notes that the Police are conducting enquiries. Pending further information, the club will be making no further comments. As a club we are taking this matter seriously, with consideration of the impact of these allegations and subsequent reporting will have on survivors of abuse."
Antony has been withdrawn from the Brazil national team but has made an appearance on TV back in his home country to deny the claims. However, Cavallin has since urged United to drop the winger.

“Antony needs to be taken off the pitch," Cavallin told The Sun on Sunday. "It’s disappointing he’s still allowed to play while there’s an investigation.
“I am absolutely destroyed by the whole process. How can life go on as normal for him? They can’t just know what they know now and not do anything. He needs to be removed.”
Cavallin initially filed her complaint to Brazilian authorities in June, and has questioned why it took United three months to respond with a statement.
