Manchester United are keeping tabs on Harry Kane alternative Alexander Isak - according to reports.
Having finished as runners-up to Manchester City in the Premier League last season, key figures in the Old Trafford boardroom issued a triple statement of intent; signing Jadon Sancho, Raphael Varane and returning five-time Ballon d'Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo. It has been a testing campaign for United despite those marquee arrivals, though.
Moving forward, central midfield has been earmarked as a priority area and Declan Rice is still viewed as target one in that regard. However, there are further suggestions United might push for England captain Kane from Tottenham, after a high-profile move to the Etihad Stadium fell through last summer.

Kane is by no means the only attacking player linked with United and Sweden frontman Isak has long-since been a player tipped to touch down in the Premier League. According to reports in The Mirror, it might even be United who win the race for his signature.
The report suggests a £60million deal could be on the cards with Real Sociedad. Despite showing vast promise, this has been a challenging term for Isak and he has only scored four goals in 23 league appearances.
Elsewhere, there is further Premier League interest aside from United in Barcelona defender Ronald Araujo.
Reports from Spanish journalist Gerard Romero suggest Arsenal are set to enter the running to sign him.
Speculation over Araujo and his future at the Nou Camp remains up in the air as the parties involved have yet to come to an agreement over his contract. His current deal expires in 2023 and there is thought to be strong interest from across
