Manchester United are weighing up a summer move for Harry Kane, according to the Mirror.
Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland remains a target, though the youngster is also being heavily tracked by rivals Man City. Manchester Evening News understands City are prepared to part with £100million to sign Haaland.
As such, Tottenham talisman Kane could be back on the agenda and could come to Old Trafford to reunite with former Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino. The Argentine, now at Paris Saint-Germain is a frontrunner for the managerial vacancy.

Elsewhere, Manchester United are reportedly 'pushing hard' to sign Ronald Araujo from Barcelona. Despite settling on Raphael Varane as a long-term partner for £80million captain Harry Maguire last summer, the Old Trafford giants continue to be linked with further moves at centre-back and Barcelona prospect Araujo has already been earmarked as one option in that regard.
According to reports, United stepped up their interest in the 23-year-old last week. With less than 18 months to go on his contract at the Nou Camp, an extension there has yet to be agreed.
It's understood that Araujo wants to stay with the Catalan outfit. However, negotiations have stalled and Spanish publication Mundo Deportivo suggest that an agreement between the parties is not particularly close. As a result, key figures in the Old Trafford boardroom are thought to be keen on landing him this summer.
Araujo has played 70 matches for Barcelona and has been capped seven times by Uruguay. He has a jaw-dropping €200million release clause, but any would-be transfer would come at a fraction of that as he prepares to enter the final year
