Despite being dropped to the substitutes bench for Sweden's defeat to Serbia, Elanga insisted that he is 'focused' on the next game and is keen to start against Slovenia on Tuesday.
"Any player who doesn’t start will be disappointed. But we can’t control that. It is up to the leaders to decide," Elanga told Fotbollskanalen.
"We players have to focus on what we can do when we get the chance to get on the field. Everyone wants to start, but now I focus on hopefully getting to start on Tuesday. It’s a game we have to win."
