Manchester United midfielder Fred has admitted that he 'misses' Brazil teammate Alex Telles, with the defender currently out on loan with Sevilla.
United signed Telles from Porto for €15million rising to €20m on deadline day in October 2020 and the Brazilian started 22 times last season. However, the arrival of fellow left-back Tyrell Malacia from Feyenoord effectively signalled the end of his career at Old Trafford, despite him being contracted to the club until 2024, with United having the option of an additional year.
The Brazilian joined La Liga outfit Sevilla on a season-long loan in the summer transfer window. So far he has made seven appearances for Julen Lopetegui's side, but has only started on three occasions.

Telles was included in Brazil's squad for their upcoming friendlies in France: against Ghana on Friday night, and versus Hannibal Mejbri's Tunisia next Tuesday. "We've got two games with the Brazilian Selecao," Fred told United's in-house media team. "Alex and I will be reunited. He's a great friend. I miss him and I hope he's happy in Seville. It's always good to catch up with friends with the national team, representing your country. I hope we do well."
The Selecao are among the favourites to lift the World Cup trophy in Qatar and the United midfielder believes his nation will go far in the tournament, which starts in November.
Fred added: "I hope Brazil are champions. And they'll [Man United fans] get behind us. I know they'll be supporting England but we're very good,
