Manchester’s 20 Stories has another accolade to add to its list after being named best restaurant at a prestigious awards ceremony this week.
Held in London on Tuesday (September 5), the British Restaurant Awards (BRA) recognises the nation's contemporary dining scene across a range of categories.
Amongst the winners, Spinningfield's 20 Stories, on Hardman Street, has been named the Best Restaurant in Manchester beating out the likes of Adam Reid at the French, WOOD Manchester, Kitten, The Ivy Asia, Peter Street Kitchen and Erst.

In recent months, the popular skyline restaurant, which is owned by D&D London, has also been simultaneously named one of the best rooftop bars in Europe and the world.
Speaking of the BRA win, Daniel Scott, Executive Chef at 20 Stories, said: “It’s an honour to win this award, considering the calibre of restaurants that were alongside us.
“The team of chefs at 20 Stories work incredibly hard to deliver such a high quality dining experience for our guests and we couldn’t be prouder to see this be recognised.”
The rooftop restaurant and bar, which offers 360 degree views of Spinningfields and the city centre, has an A La Carte menu featuring seared scallops, Kombu cured halibut, miso roasted aubergine and marinated pork fillet.
The bar features a range of contemporary cocktails, including a Dirty Tequila Martini, a Manchester Tart Punch and the bespoke 20 Stories cocktail featuring Taqueray gin and Lilet Blanc alongside a homemade honey and herb cordial, with grapes, lemon and red wine.
