Match of the Day host Gary Lineker has stood by his verdict on Manchester United despite the Reds coming from behind to beat Nottingham Forest 3-2 at Old Trafford.
Erik ten Hag's side found themselves 2-0 down inside four minutes at the Theatre of Dreams. Taiwo Awoniyi opened the scoring after two minutes, hitting the Reds on the counter from a corner to make it 1-0.
The advantage was doubled on four minutes when Willy Boly turned in a Forest free-kick. Following Forest's second, an unimpressed Lineker sarcastically tweeted: "Manchester United seem to have solved their problems."
However, the Reds managed to rally and pulled one back on 17 minutes when Christian Eriksen prodded home. United went into the break behind but were level seven minutes after the interval thanks to Casemiro.

Forest's task was made harder midway through the second half as Joe Worrall was sent off following a challenge on Bruno Fernandes. Less than 10 minutes later the Reds were awarded a penalty after Marcus Rashford was brought down by Danilo.
Up stepped Fernandes to score and seal a brilliant turnaround. At full-time, some United fans may have been wondering if Lineker had regretted his earlier tweet.
Responding to an article by the Mirror which suggested the Leicester City supporter would be regretting his earlier comment, Lineker simply responded: "He isn't," accompanied by laughing emojis.
While United fans will be pleased with their comeback, many will still be concerned by how easily Forest took a two-goal lead. Next up for the Reds is a trip to Arsenal next Sunday.
