Manchester United have been touted as the favourites to sign Harry Kane this summer as Manchester City reportedly turn their attentions to Erling Haaland.
Kane came close to joining City last summer, with the Premier League champions pursuing the Tottenham striker throughout the transfer window, only for Spurs to hold firm.
The England captain sent a timely reminder to Pep Guardiola of his talent last weekend as he scored a superb double during an exceptional performance against his City, earning Tottenham a 3-2 win at the Etihad.
Despite that, BILD report that City have turned their attentions elsewhere, and have now put Haaland top of their list ahead of this summer.
Haaland is of course one of the hottest properties in world football at the moment, with Europe’s top clubs battling it out to try and secure his signature.
City have looked to gain head-start, which has opened the door for United to pursue Kane.
The 28-year-old has been linked with a potential move to Old Trafford in recent weeks, with his former Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino one of the frontrunners to become United’s new permanent boss.
And BILD claim that United have now moved to the top of the list for Kane ahead of Pochettino’s arrival.
Elsewhere, Aston Villa are being linked with a move for Boubacar Kamara after the Marseille midfielder was touted for a move to United in January.
The Reds were heavily linked to the 22-year-old amid their plans to bolster their midfield options, although they ended up making no signings during the window.
United though are still being linked with Kamara, along with Newcastle and Leeds, with But! Football Club suggesting Villa are also in the race.
