A homeless woman was repeatedly kicked in the head on a street in Fallowfield as a man carried out a spate of vile attacks.
Police said a number of homeless people were attacked by the same suspect on Wilmslow Road. The incidents happened at around 2.30am last Wednesday (August 16).
In one attack, the suspect walked up to a woman and repeatedly kicked her in the head and on her body, officers said. This happened near the junction with Walmer Street.

Police now want to speak to any witnesses or anyone who has any information about what happened. In an appeal posted on social media, police in south Manchester said: "#APPEAL | Police are appealing for witnesses following assaults in Fallowfield. The assaults occurred on Wilmslow Road at around 2.30am on Wednesday 16 August.
"Police were called to reports of a male attacking multiple homeless people along Wilmslow Road. The offender is seen walking towards one victim from the direction of the junction of Walmer Street.
"He walks up to the victim and begins to kick her around her head and body repeatedly. Anyone who witnessed assaults or has any information, CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage should contact police on 0161 856 4227 quoting log number 280 of 16/08/23.
