Doyle outlines City's support out on loan ahead of fresh transfer
Callum Doyle has lifted the lid on how Manchester City support young players when out on loan as he prepares to move to Leicester City for the upcoming season.
After winning the League One play-offs with Sunderland, last season Doyle got to the Championship play-off final with Coventry. Reflecting on that spell, Doyle spoke of the behind-the-scenes support he got from City, including daily conversations and three weekly visits from staff to ensure he is progressing personally as well as on the pitch.
"I would speak to Shayne [Murphy] from the loans group who would manage my nutrition and my strength and conditioning side of football," Doyle told City's media team.

"I would then get three weekly visits, so obviously it was good to see them coming to the club and I was with Josh [Wilson-Esbrand] as well at Coventry, so the [conversations] were quite regular which was good.
"It helped with my football because I felt supported. Obviously the facilities and the staff, first and foremost [helps players thrive at City]. You have a good amount of staff who take care of you and answer any questions you’ve got."
