During Monday's episode (June 24) of Good Morning Britain, Susanna Reid and co-host Adil Ray turned to Lorraine Kelly for a preview of her show. She expressed her joy saying: "It's fantastic, he is wonderful."
A picture of Rosie was shown on screen, where she was seen at dinner on holiday flaunting her large diamond ring, reports the Express.
Lorraine shared more about the engagement, saying: "He's had the ring for quite some time, got it sorted out, did the whole thing."
She also mentioned that Rosie's partner asked her husband of 32 years, Steve Smith, for permission before proposing. She added: "It's fantastic. Some much-needed happy news."
Susanna congratulated Rosie and her Steve, and also Lorraine and her Steve. Agreeing with Susanna, Lorraine admitted that having two Steves in their household can get "quite confusing".
"We'll have to sort that out at some stage," she chuckled, before saying: "But it's great, I will get a son! It's just lovely. He's a smashing fella and a lovely family so we're absolutely delighted."
