Joe Otterson TV Reporter The upcoming Amazon Prime Video series “The Bondsman” starring Kevin Bacon has added four new cast members, Variety has learned exclusively. Beth Grant (“No Country For Old Men,” “Donnie Darko”), Damon Herriman (“Once Upon A Time in Hollywood”, “Justified”), Maxwell Jenkins (“Arcadian,” “Lost In Space”) and Jolene Purdy (“The White Lotus,” “Orange Is The New Black”) have all joined the show in series regular roles. Aside from Bacon, they join previously announced cast member Jennifer Nettles.
“The Bondsman” was ordered straight-to-series at Prime Video back in June 2023 for eight half-hour episodes. The official logline states that it centers on Hub Halloran (Bacon), “a backwoods bounty hunter who comes back from the dead with an unexpected second chance at life, love, and a nearly-forgotten musical career — only to find that his old job now has a demonic new twist.” Grant will play Kitty, the mother of Hub Halloran. Herriman will appear as Lucky, described as “the owner of a successful country music club, who is in a relationship with Maryanne (Nettles), Hub’s ex-wife.” Jenkins will play Cade, the son of Hub and Maryanne.
Purdy is set to portray Midge, who is said to be “weary with the understated gravitas of someone who’s learned the hard way how to hold her ground in a male-dominated world. Midge may look unassuming but she’s actually a secret emissary.” Grant is repped by Buchwald. Herriman is repped by Independent Artist Group and Art/Work Entertainment in the U.S., and in Australia by Lisa Mann Creative Management.
Jenkins is repped by Gilbertson Entertainment, Innovative Artists, and Myman Greenspan. Purdy is repped by Apparent Motion and Integral Artists. Grainger David created “The

Naman Ramachandran Prime Video has revealed a title and the extended cast for the Indian instalment of “Citadel,” the espionage action series created by the Russo brothers. The Indian series within the “Citadel” universe will be called “Citadel: Honey Bunny.” As previously announced, Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu will lead the cast. Joe Otterson TV Reporter Margaret Qualley has been cast as Amanda Knox in an untitled limited series that has been ordered at Hulu, Variety has learned. Hulu has ordered eight one-hour episodes. The official description states that the show is “based on the true story of how Knox was wrongfully convicted for the murder of her roommate Meredith Kercher and her 16-year odyssey to set herself free.” KJ Steinberg (“This Is Us,” “Mistresses,” “Gossip Girl”) serves as writer and executive producer on the series.
The highly anticipated Netflix series The Gentlemen arrives on the streaming platform on Thursday 7 March with Theo James and Kaya Scodelario in the main roles as Eddie Halstead and Susie Glass.The series sounds familiar because Guy Ritchie, writer, executive producer and director also created the film with the same name. During the making of the series, the cast and crew filmed in various locations from Brocket Hall to Badminton House but during one take, the team made a costly error. Nick Vivarelli International Correspondent Kevin Spacey will appear as a character named “The Devil” in Italian director Massimo Paolucci’s psychological thriller “The Contract,” which just wrapped principal photography in Rome. The English-language film, described in a statement as having a similar storyline as Alan Parker’s “Angel Heart” and Taylor Hackford’s “The Devil’s Advocate,” also stars Eric Roberts and Vincent Spano, Italian production company TM Entertainment said. Spacey arrived in Rome last December to shoot “The Contract.” Reps for Spacey, Roberts and Spano did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
