The Princess of Wales is expected to remain in hospital for the next few days as she continues with her recovery from last week’s abdominal surgery.
Kate is not expected to return to royal duties until after Easter and as we’ve reported, Prince William has taken time out from royal duties as he tends to their three children and provides support to his other half at a difficult time.
But when Kate is released from the care of medics, as writes the Mirror, she’s expected to go back to the Wales’ family home at Adelaide Cottage in Windsor.
William and Kate moved there with Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis in 2022 from their previous pad at Kensington Palace so they could enjoy a quieter family life and have more privacy.
The four-bedroom property boasts a beautiful garden and doesn’t need live-in staff due to its smaller size. But the property is stunning nonetheless, and also has a very scandalous past which royal fans may already be aware of.

Adelaide Cottage was built in 1831 as a retreat for William IV's wife Queen Adelaide, and it was known to be a favourite home of Queen Victoria as she frequently enjoyed taking her breakfast there.
