Jet2 has brought forward the launch date of a new route from Manchester Airport to a popular Portuguese city break destination following a surge in interest. The airline and holiday operator will now launch flights and holidays with Jet2CityBreaks to Porto this summer.
Previously the companies announced that flights and city breaks to Porto from Manchester Airport and Birmingham Airport would begin in summer 2025. But they’ve made the decision to bring the launch forward, just in time for the school holidays this year.
Flights from Manchester to the Portuguese city will begin on July 4, 2024. The companies will operate two weekly services, Thursday and Sunday, from then until November 3 2024. The flights will start again in time for next summer.
