Fans of This Morning won't be getting their usual fix on Tuesday because the show has been pulled off-air to make way for an ITV News special programme.

This Morning viewers were soon commenting on social media when they were welcomed by Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary to the latest show. The hosting duo were back fronting the ITV daytime show on Monday (October 17), days after they helped the show celebrate its latest award win.
But fans of the popular show were quick to realise that Alison and Dermot don't usually host the show, being This Morning Friday's presenters and the Monday to Thursday episodes are usually presented by Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.
According to ITV, Phillip and Holly are taking their half-term break this week and Dermot and Alison will be sitting for them. But some were quick to point out that it's not long since the pair returned to the programme after their summer break, and others were confused as it isn't half-term where they live just yet.
