ITV's I'm A Celeb 'set to sign chart-topping boy band star' for new series

Marvin Humes, a member of the popular boy band JLS, is reportedly set to trade his microphone for creepy crawlies in the Australian jungle on ITV's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! His wife, Rochelle Humes from The Saturdays and This Morning, is said to be fully behind him. It's also rumoured that Marvin's This Morning colleague, Josie Gibson, will be joining him in the sunny Australian wilderness, leaving behind the wet and windy UK weather.
Coronation Street actor Alan Halsall, who plays Tyrone Dobbs in the soap, is also reportedly in discussions to join the challenging show, along with many other familiar faces. An insider shared: "Marvin would be a brilliant signing." They added: "Not only is he known to fans of The X Factor and fans of JLS, but the audience for The Hit List and This Morning spans from kids right through older viewers. And with Rochelle's backing, he's got a ready-made fan base." The source also told The Sun that show bosses are hoping Marvin will make good use of the famous jungle shower to flaunt his fit physique, having remained a "pin-up" throughout his 15-year career in the spotlight.
"He'll have lots of showbiz stories to tell, too, from his 15 years in the limelight," they added. Marvin's potential trip to Australia comes hot on the heels of former MEP Nigel Farage's revelation that he's in discussions with ITV bosses about swapping London for the jungle. On his GB News show, the ex-UKIP leader shared that he was "seriously considering" offers from ITV bigwigs.
