Ajax manager Alfred Schreuder remains angry at the manner of Antony's exit to join Manchester United this summer.
The deal to bring the Brazilian winger to Old Trafford was officially confirmed on deadline day with Antony naming Erik ten Hag as a key factor in his decision-making process. He would also go on to pay homage to his former club for how they have aided his development to reach this point.
However, these well wishes have not been reciprocated by his former manager.

As for Schreuder, he has already criticised the manner in which Antony pushed for the exit. Now, while reflecting on his club's transfer window, he explained exactly why the 22-year-old frustrated him.
"We can look back on a nice transfer window," Schreuder told Soccer Niuews. "I was personally not happy with the departure of Antony; I wanted a replacement.
"That worked out with [Lucas] Ocampos, and we are all very happy with that. The group is strong with that. I wasn’t happy with him [Antony] not playing and training. He knows from me that I don’t approve of that.
"With [Mohammed] Kudus that was done in consultation, only the second time he missed a training session he did so on his own. With [Edson] Alvarez there was something going on around him on the last day (a late bid from Chelsea), so it is logical that something happens to a boy like that."
