Manchester United's transfer window might not be over just yet as the club have held exploratory talks over the possible signing of Sergino Dest.
After United confirmed they had finally agreed a deal with Ajax for Antony on Tuesday, which is now only subject to international clearance and agreement of personal terms, a loan move for Newcastle goalkeeper Martin Dubravka seemed likely to be the final piece of business this summer.
Though there have been massive struggles over the last few months, United's six additions - which also include Tyrell Malacia, Christian Eriksen, Lisandro Martinez and Casemiro - look to have made the window a successful one. But it could get even better before it closes on Thursday night.

Erik Ten Hag has been keen to add another right-back to his squad to upgrade upon Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who was earmarked as not good enough for the new manager's side at the start of his reign. Now MEN Sport understands that United have held talks with Barcelona over signing Dest on a season-long loan.
The 21-year-old is another player Ten Hag is familiar with having coached him at Ajax and he is another player Barcelona may look to get off the wage bill. Despte United's problems with Barca this summer over the Frenkie de Jong pursuit, Dest is seen as a better option than Wan-Bissaka, with the latter being available on the market all summer.
Former club Crystal Palace are interested but are only willing to pay £10million for the 24-year-old, three years on from selling him for £45million. Dest's arrival may hinge on whether Wan-Bissaka leaves the club but if the American international does arrive in Manchester then he will need a squad number.
