The family of a mum who has vanished say they are 'all so worried' as a huge search operation continues. Yvonne Backhouse, 73, was reported missing on Saturday after a carer who attended her home in the High Peak found she wasn't in as expected, and informed her family.
A neighbour has said they saw her at her home in the village of Tintwistle, where she was born and raised, on Friday evening. However, that is when Derbyshire Police say there was the last confirmed sighting.
In an urgent appeal issued on Saturday, the force said they were 'extremely concerned for her welfare.' Police officers, family members as well as friends and helpers have spent the last 24 hours frantically searching for the mum-of-three, with efforts continuing today.

Yvonne's daughter Stacey Meyer, 31, who lives in Ashton said there are 11 police units as well as mountain rescue teams involved this morning (Sunday) with drones also being deployed.
Stacey says her mum, who has another daughter and a son and who was a dinner lady at Hadfield Infant School, has left her glasses, which she wears all the time, at home alongside her handbag containing her mobile phone, purse, bus pass and other belongings.
Speaking to the Manchester Evening News Stacey said the family had 'no idea' why she had disappeared and that all her loved ones were beside themselves with worry.
She said: "We just really want her to come and to be safe. We don't know why she's just disappeared without a trace. It just seems really strange no one has seen her or found her so far. At her age, if she's walking on foot and has no money, I think that means she can't have gone too far."
