The much-loved TV chef died at the age of 66 last month after a brave battle against cancer. His co-star Si King announced the sad news in a heartbreaking message shared on social media, in which he confirmed he, Dave's wife Liliana Orzac, his family and close friend David were all by his side as he passed.
Tributes quickly poured in for the popular TV star and a tribute was made by the BBC as it was decided Dave and Si's latest series, Hairy Bikers Go West, would continue to air in his memory.

The final episode of the series aired this evening, marking Dave's last onscreen appearance. It saw the duo complete their tour of Devon and Dorset before they shared an emotional moment.
There are emotional scenes as a triumphant Dave tells the camera: "It's been tough at times. I've had chemotherapy all the time we've been filming, it hasn't been easy but we've got there and it's a wonderful feeling.'
Si adds: "We've done it, but more importantly he's done it." He then starts welling up as he says: "He's my mate but I love him like family, like a brother, and I'm lost for words. It's quite remarkable what he's done."
Dave added: "Who knows what the future holds but for the moment I'm living in the present, and it's pretty fine', a smiling Dave adds. After the credits roll, a tribute reads: "In loving memory of our friend, Dave Myers."
