The family of a missing Edinburgh man paid tribute to the 'one in a million dad' after a body was found in the search for him.
Daniel Fraser was last seen in Musselburgh, East Lothian, at around 1.37am on January 7.
The 35-year-old was reported missing by his worried family after failing to return to his Drylaw home. Following a painstaking four week search, a body was found in the water at Musselburgh Lagoons on Sunday morning.
While formal identification has yet to take place, dad-of-two Daniel’s family have been made aware. His grieving relatives took to social media following the tragic update on Monday.
His devastated sister Skye wrote: “My brother can now be put to rest. Daniel will know how much we all love and cared for him.
“Rest easy up there my boy.
“I’ll cherish every moment and memory I had with you. I’ll always look up to you like how I did when you were here. I’ll love you forever my boy.”

Cousin Lauren Quinn added: “I have no words, I’m absolutely broken. I’ve tried to prepare myself for weeks now of the worst and there’s not enough preparation in the world to prepare yourself for something as heart-aching as this.
“Daniel you weren’t only my big cousin you were the big brother I never had growing up. You played a big role in my childhood. All the phone calls, all the visits, all our laughs and all the memories we share I’ll cherish forever.
“I’ll forever be thankful for you always phoning or messaging to check in on me, I’m so numb right now Danny boy. You had your whole life ahead of you and two little boys who loved you so dearly. You were one in a million.
