A woman who stabbed her husband through the heart and used the same knife to continue chopping onions just days after Christmas has been jailed for life.
Teresa Hanson killed her husband of 34 years on December 28 following a row at their family home in West Cowick, near Goole, East Yorkshire. She fatally injured Paul Hanson, 54, when she plunged a 2cm wide blade into his torso and damaged his heart, the Mirror reports.

The court heard Hanson's claims she had no idea Paul was fatally injured and she did not notice a trail of blood into the dining room where he had collapsed. She said she did not hear one shout, groan, cry or moan from him.
She even went back to chopping onions with the same knife. Hanson gave a pre-prepared statement during a police interview and declined to answer any questions.
She claimed she was holding the knife and when she turned around, her husband walked into it. A pathologist claimed that
