James Trafford moved on loan from Manchester City to Bolton Wanderers during the January transfer window.
The 19-year-old has joined Wanderers on loan from City, where he is highly thought of and seen as fourth choice in the goalkeeping department, for the second half of the League One season.
He had previously been on loan at Accrington Stanley but had found game time hard to come by of late.

Trafford made his Bolton debut in the 2-0 victory over Ipswich Town, replacing previous number one Joel Dixon who has now been relegated to the bench.
He followed this up with another clean sheet on the road the next weekend against Shrewsbury Town where Wanderers picked up another three points courtesy of a 1-0 win.
Over the weekend, Trafford kept his third clean sheet in a row in the 6-0 drubbing of Sunderland, which proved to be Lee Johnson's final game in charge of the Black Cats.
And last night, Trafford kept another clean sheet in the 2-0 win over Cambridge United where goals from Amadou Bakayoko and Dapo Afolayan helped secure a fourth win in succession for Ian Evatt's side.
In keeping a fourth clean sheet in a row, Trafford broke a Bolton club record by recording a quartet of shutouts in a row in his first four Wanderers game.
This breaks the prior record which was previously held by Simon Farnworth.
Trafford will be hoping to extend that record to a fifth game this Saturday when Wanderers travel to Morecambe in their latest League One fixture.
