Her growing attraction to Billy Fletcher has led to the young mum’s desire for escape, though it’s not known how long she could be gone for, reports the Mirror. Mortified after she made a pass at him, her exit could see an end to the character’s 22 years on the show. Gabby, the daughter of Bernice Blackstock and Ashley Thomas, was born on the show on Christmas Day in 2001 and has been a mainstay ever since.
She and her little boy could turn their backs on the village for an indefinite period of time. Her exit may not be the only one though, as Amelia Spencer tries to get her father Dan to go on the run in the wake of his recent court battle.The dad injured young man Lloyd after he was harassing his teen daughter, but Dan’s blow saw Lloyd suffer serious head injuries. Alongside her young daughter Esther, Amelia suggests they permanently leave the village after becoming concerned her father will end up behind bars for his actions.
