Erik ten Hag insists Jadon Sancho's behaviour fell below the cultural standards at Manchester United as his exile continues.
Sancho has been training away from the first team for three months after he publicly accused Ten Hag of lying over his omission from the squad for the 3-1 defeat at Arsenal on September 3.
Ten Hag said Sancho's training form had resulted in his omission but, in a Twitter post, Sancho urged followers "please don't believe everything you read" and that he was being "scapegoated".
Sancho has not played for United since they beat Nottingham Forest 3-2 on August 26 and he was omitted from their squad photo in September. The 23-year-old is still training at their Carrington complex but he has been banished to the academy building, where Sancho has to get changed in a locked room for safeguarding issues.

In an interview published this week, Ten Hag said he had "no regrets" about his handling of Sancho and he implied only an belated apology from the winger would prompt his return to the first team fold.
"So it is about a culture and every player has to match certain standards and it was about that," Ten Hag stressed. "What will happen there (his future), he knows what he has to do, if he wants to return and it is up to him. He knows what he has to do, it is up to him."
When asked if Sancho was still on a full salary, Ten Hag replied: "I think that is an internal matter. We will see what will happen."
