Emmerdale fans are convinced they've rumbled a secret twist following the latest instalment, as there was an unexpected storyline development that revealed Craig Reed had been killed. As the character lay dead in a field outside the village, a dramatic montage started to play out that showed it could be any number of the Dingle family members.
Yet many fans are convinced that the killer is actually the one family member not pictured - Samson Dingle. Fans had already watched the family gather together for a "discussion" on how to deal with the evil rapist in the Woolpack pub earlier that day, but it wasn't long before they realised that someone had actually decided to go ahead and murder him, in what could be the second murder storyline.
Soap bosses revealed that four hours after the events in the pub, Craig was covered in blood, and so were two other people. Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) was shaking with blood on her hands, as she reflected on her earlier words that Craig was "not going to get away with this, I promise you".
Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins), Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson), Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley), Caleb Miligan (William Ash), Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter), Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) were all looking incredibly shifty too. Up until this point, Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) has shown the most willingness to "sort" Craig once and for all, after he raped his brother's wife Lydia Dingle (Karen Blick).
