Emmerdale's James Hooton teases Sam's involvement in Craig's death and if much-loved character is capable of murder

Emmerdale star James Hooton has teased Sam Dingle's involvement as it revealed that Craig Reed is dead. It'd be fair to say that each one of the Dingles would be keen on revenge after Lydia bravely told them she was raped by her former childhood acquaintance.
Craig unexpectedly came back into Lydia's life after bumping into him at a job fair at the Hide and the pair were later seen bonding after Lydia told Craig she had given birth to their stillborn baby when they were in a teenage relationship while living in the same children's home.
But things turned awkward when Craig appeared to want to make a move on Lydia, despite her being happily married to Sam. As a result, she decided to speak to Craig and tell him that she was with Sam and that she wasn't interested in him.

But in shocking scenes, he forced himself on Lydia and has since denied raping her and saying no one would believe her if she spoke out. It left Lydia keeping her ordeal a secret and even saw Mandy and Belle accuse her and Craig of having an affair.
It is then when the truth came out after opening up to her boss Kim Tate, Lydia decided it was time to tell her family the heartbreaking truth. She has since gone to the police and joined Sam as he confronted Craig in his office, who continued to deny raping Lydia, lying that it was "consensual'.
But next week, Lydia delivers the shocking news that Craig is dead and already knowing Sam and his brother Cain had Craig tied up in a remote barn, she gathers the Dingles in the Woolpack for a lock-in and begins questioning them
