Emmerdale writers looked at keeping murderer Meena on ITV soap ahead of 'satisfying end'
Emmerdale writer Sharon Marshall has revealed that the ITV soap considered keeping murderer Meena Jutla on screen ahead of the character's "satisfying ending". Speaking on This Morning, Sharon, 50, teased details about the Meena storyline and said that writers realistically couldn't keep the village murderer on the ITV soap as she has committed 25 crimes. During the soap segment, Phillip Schofield said: "You say: 'Can she get away with it?' and obviously that will be the question, but didn't you have a little analysis at work?" To which Sharon then admitted: "Yeah, I was just telling you this.
