It's fair to say that actress Paige Sandhu has made her mark on the ITV soap since joining Emmerdale in 2020. She's killed off some of the shows most beloved characters such as Andrea Tate (Anna Nightingale) and Leanna Cavanagh (Mimi Slinger) and wreaked havoc on the residents including her sister Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker).
However despised she may be by the people she's hurt, Meena is much loved by Emmerdale fans. As her time on the soap draws to a close, many are calling for ITV to commission a spinoff series, which fans have called Meenadale, to keep her on our screens.
Hardcore fans have even launched a petition in the hopes that it will sway bosses on the matter, dubbing Meena "the most interesting part of Emmerdale." Get exclusive celebrity stories and fabulous photoshoots straight to your inbox with OK!'s daily newsletter .The petition reads: "Many viewers of Emmerdale have felt that serial killer Meena Jutla has been the most interesting part of Emmerdale for a while now, and have expressed their wish for a spin-off series centred around her. "Actress Paige Sandhu agrees! Whether it could be set in a prison as she carries out her sentence and depicts her becoming top dog and potentially escaping.
"Or whether she gets off with no charge and follows her arrival to another village where she begins killing again – fans of Meena NEED it! "With the many dramas that ITV commission, it would be so interesting to see a spin-off of a soap." Become an OK! VIP and see all our exclusives - for free! Become an OK!
