Emmerdale fans were greeted with the return of Meena Jutla during the soap's return to screens on Monday night. The latest trip to the Dales kicked off with a visit to the serial killing nurse who is currently behind bars as she awaits her murder trial.

Emmerdale actress Rebecca Sarker took to her Instagram on Tuesday evening (22 March) to post a snap of her on her kitchen floor after training for ITV's new live show, The Games.The actress – who plays Manpreet Sharma in the ITV soap – captioned the picture: "First day of training for @thegamestv @itv Floored." Her on-screen sister Paige Sandhu was quick to share in the excitement, writing: "Aaaaahhhhhh!!!!" with some fitting fire emojis. Also taking part in the athletics-themed face off is former Strictly Come Dancing pro Kevin Clifton.
