EastEnders has announced that Bobby Brazier is making his acting debut in the hit BBC One soap.The 19-year-old, who is the son of the late Jade Goody, will be making his arrival in autumn as the "chaotic" Freddie Slater. Bobby, who is currently filming scenes, said he is "very grateful" for the opportunity and that he's "loving every minute" so far.The model, whose father is Jeff Brazier, said: "I’m really excited to be joining the cast of EastEnders - so far it’s been perfect.

EastEnders actor Scott Maslen was spotted showing off his impressive muscles as he grabbed some lunch on Tuesday afternoon.The actor, who plays Jack Branning in the hit soap, did not let the 40 plus degree heat in London as he made his way back home carrying some food. The 29 year old actress, who is best known for playing Lucy Beale in the long running BBC soap, shared the news with fans on Instagram as she made the frantic trip to A&E to receive treatment after tripping over one of her one year old son’s toys.

A former EastEnders star has reportedly been arrested on suspicion of an alleged "large-scale" fraud. Jessie Wallace has been “urged to slow down” by her friends in the wake of the EastEnders star being arrested over the weekend for allegedly drunkenly assaulting a police officer. A statement issued to OK! Online by Suffolk Police at the time read: "A 50 year-old woman was arrested early on Sunday morning in St Andrew’s Street, Bury St Edmunds, on suspicion of assaulting a police officer/drunk and disorderly conduct and was released without charge after receiving a conditional caution." Images later surfaced showing the moment Jessie, 50, was restrained as arrested.
