Death In Paradise's Ralf Little 'confirms' replacement as he hints at Neville Parker return

BBC Death In Paradise's Ralf Little has seemingly 'confirmed' who will be replacing him as he bowed out of the show after five years of playing the lead detective.
In emotional scenes on the BBC drama on Sunday night, DI Neville Parker decided to go explore the world with Florence Cassell as the pair seemed to want to give their potential romance with one another a shot.
However, this now leaves the leading detective role vacant with fans desperate to know who may be replacing Neville on the island of Saint Marie. Ralf, 44, has now dropped a hint about who could be next in line to fill the role in a new interview, the Mirror reports.
Asked who they should replace him with, he said: "I wish I had some insider knowledge but I don’t. Someone younger, someone older?
"I have no idea. But every leader has to arrive on the island as a fish out of water. That’s the formula.
"And they have something within them that is broken, and that the island, and the people they work with, will heal. However they do it, that’s the key."
He then hinted that it could be a female that replaces him on the show.
When asked about the possibility of it being a female detective next, he told the Big Issue: "I don’t see why not. They have the scope to do anything and the opportunity to do anything, but also, this creative team can do anything because they’re so good."

Ralf is hopeful that he may be able to make a return to the show in the future for a special guest role.
He said: "As far as I know, Neville has sailed off into the sunset with Florence and that’s the end of his story. But we know Death in Paradise and the ‘DIP-verse’, as we
