Ralf Little has said goodbye to his role as DI Neville Parker in BBC's Death In Paradise after the series 13 finale, bringing to an end his four year stint on the popular Caribbean detective series. Following the episode's jaw-dropping conclusion, Ralf shared his feelings about leaving on social media, as he said: "So, there you have it! The secret's out! My time on Saint Marie has come to an end. But, what an end! ".
"New adventures await Neville and he got to sail off into the sunset with his best friend, and, you know, who knows what happens for them next! I just want to say, just an enormous thank you to everyone who watched and supported the show. When I arrived, four-and-a-half years ago, I knew I had big shoes to fill. Coming into a series beloved by millions, including me, was a huge responsibility." Ralf became famous when he was younger, having first shot to fame in The Royle Family.
He also appeared in Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps, 24 Hour Party People, Doctor Who, and The A Word. He played the main character in Death In Paradise for four and a half years, which was his first big part in a major TV show, reports the Mirror.
The 44 year old actor has shared his future plans after leaving the show, saying he wants to "surprise himself and audiences". He's looking to try new things that are a bit scary or challenging.
